After pre-release screenings at the Museum of Fine Arts,
Houston, For The Sake Of The Song will be entered in
and premiere at major film festivals throughout the
world including the Sundance, South by Southwest, Los
Angeles, Full Frame, Woodstock, Toronto, London, Rotterdam,
Munich, Amsterdam and Sydney film festivals. The producers
expect to follow these screenings with broadcast distribution
on channels such as PBS, A&E, HBO or other cable
networks along with the BBC and other international
broadcast markets.
Following the broadcast release educational
outreach will follow with non-profit distribution to
educational institutions and historical preservation
organizations throughout the U.S. and Europe, including
the music archive of the University of Texas Center
for American History. A website with additional information
about the material presented in the film and hyperlinks
to other related subjects will also be established. |
